Mid December 2019 a virus makes its appearance in China. Known as Covid-19 (or SARS COV 2 for you scientists) this virus will quickly make his way across Europe.
Thankfully a vaccine is found to help curb the ever growing number of deaths. Deaths that occur especially to the most vulnerable. I was during the first vaccination campaign in the south of France in a small village where most of the population is over 50 and therefore vulnerable.
I managed to get permission to document these vaccination stadiums that where set up to welcome the ones that wanted to get their first jab.
Interestingly it seemed that people where not eager to get vaccinated. To put things into perspective, it was practically impossible to get an appointment to get vaccinated in Paris as all slots were filled. It was interesting to see how much more skeptical people from the countryside were towards the vaccine. A lot of the people I know in this region took their time before getting vaccinated.

With a overwhelming part of the population that is over 50 these rural part of France highly depend on vaccination stadiums like this one
